For this presentation, we’ll be taking a look at the care of the pregnant patient and some of the more common clinical presentations that may present to a chiropractor. This will cover some of the clinical considerations one needs to be familiar with, such as clinical differentials, identification of red flags, assessment and management strategies.

Assoc Prof Navine Haworth has been involved in chiropractic and osteopathic education of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs for 17 years. These have included RMIT University, Victoria University, Central Queensland University and Australian Chiropractic College. In addition, she has co-owned and practiced in multidisciplinary clinics in Melbourne and Seattle with her husband, with a strong focus on the care of families. Since graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, she completed her Post-Graduate Diplomate in Paediatric Chiropractic from Palmer and the ICA in 2001 and the final stages of PhD completion at Federation University. She is the Academic Dean at the Australian Chiropractic College.
