Andrew has extensive higher education experience, in both the private and public sectors. He combines this with strong experience as a management consultant with PWC and Deloitte.

He has held leadership roles in higher education including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) of Swinburne University (2007-2012), including several months as the Acting Vice Chancellor; Dean of Science and Technology at Deakin University (2005-2007); and Head of School (Business Systems) at Monash University (2000-2005)

Current roles include: Principal – iMORSE (a higher education and analytics consultancy), Professor (hon.) Florey Neurosciences Institute, University of Melbourne; Professorial Fellow (hon.) at LH Martin Institute, University of Melbourne; Principal Subject Matter Expert (Higher Education and Research) PWC; Member of Council, Deputy Chair Board of Studies, Higher Education Advisor to the CEO – Victorian Institute of Technology (VIT); Member of the Board and Chair Academic Board – LCI Melbourne (formerly Academy of Design Australia); Member of Academic Board – Australian College of Applied Psychology, part of the Navitas Group of Higher Education Providers.

He is a Fellow of both the Australian Computer Society and the Operational Research Society
