Brad’s career started through working with some of the most disadvantaged young people in the community, running psycho-educational programs. Today he works with clients from diverse fields including education, health, disability, medicine, psychology, hospitality, management, construction, manufacturing and business services.

With a strong belief in education as an agent of social change and wanting a vehicle to drive this notion, Brad began developing the Ikon Institute of Australia – a national training provider (VET and Higher Education) specialising in creative therapies, psychotherapy, counselling and youth work. This enabled him to contribute to the mental health and wellbeing sectors by building skills, bolstering employment outcomes and ‘helping people help others.’

Brad is passionate about lifelong learning and believes it is central to personal wellbeing and successful societies. With a wealth of experience in leadership, management and training in both the public and private sectors, he has led the development, accreditation and delivery of vocational, higher education, professional development and personal leadership education to a range of audiences. He is a strong advocate for the integration of research, evidence-based practice into professional practice.
